Women and Menopause Series – four week series that begins August 23rd at 11:00 AM

Are you one of the 30-million women in America wrestling with symptoms of menopause? If so, we have heard your cry and are here to help! Menopause occurs when a woman’s ovaries decrease estrogen production. And it brings new health and emotional challenges that are challenging to navigate. The average age for menopause is 51 years, however perimenopausal symptoms can begin as early as 35 years. 

In this 4-week information-packed course, participants will understand… 

  • Health risks related to perimenopause and menopause 
  • Food triggers for menopausal symptoms 
  • Nutrition objectives for menopause 
  • Key nutrients needed during menopause 
  • Tips for weight management during menopause 
  • Tips for successful behavioral change 
  • Cognitive interventions for emotional wellbeing 
  • Supplements to support emotions, bones, and sleep  
  • Exercise guidelines during menopause 

Each week cooking demonstrations and recipes will be included. Participants will also receive informational handouts and e-booklets for future content reference. 

The course will run every Wednesday from August 23 – September 13th from 11am-12pm

Each session billed to eligible BCBS, Aetna and Cigna plans. Private pay is $120 for series. Payment due before first session. No pay per session option available.
