New 16 Week Program – Nourish and Thrive: Your Lifestyle Transformation

Are you tired of health classes that tell you what to do without teaching you how to do it? This may leave us feeling overwhelmed and frustrated. Yet, information overload is normal in a fast-paced world that spares little time for learning new skills. Therefore, rather than offer a traditional class series that focuses on teaching about weight loss and behavior change, we have created a new program on transformational lifestyle change. This 16-week program will include weekly virtual group meetings with action steps to practice and discuss in a group setting along with monthly individual counseling sessions. We want to take you from information to transformation through hands-on learning and personalized care. 

 

Our program will begin February 8th and run through May 23rd on Thursdays at 2pm. Each month participants will join a group online seminar followed by 3 weeks of group classes with specific instructions and assignments for personal application. Weekly meetings will begin with group discussion on the previous week’s assignment, followed by instructions on a new skill to apply. The program is limited to 15 people and will also include 5 individual consults with Lisa Johnson, MS, RD, CLT. The program’s objective is to focus on the process of change using instruction, accountability, and support to build skills that will set you up for long-term lifestyle change without focusing on the scale.

Week 4 – Fiber and Fats 

 

Week 5 – Meal Planning and What Our Plate Should Look Like 

Week 6 – Practicing the Plate Method 

Week 7 – Batched Breakfasts and Lunches 

Week 8 – Building a Sheet Pan Dinner 

 

Week 9 – Eating Heathy on the Go  

Week 10 – Mindfulness with the Hunger Scale 

Week 11 – Packing Snacks 

Week 12 – Mastering the Menu 

 

Week 13- Building a Healthy Kitchen with Cooking Demo (video from Living Plate) 

Week 14 – Stocking your Fridge 

Week 15 – Stocking your Freezer 

Week 16 – Stocking your Pantry 

Cost for the 16-week transformational program – $560 (only $35 per session) plus individual consultation fees. Individual consultations are billable to insurance with your pre-approved plan. Unpaid claims will be the responsibility of the class participant.
