Korean Beef Bowls

¼ cup brown sugar 

¼ cup reduced sodium soy sauce 

2 tsp sesame oil 

¼ tsp ground ginger 

1 Tbsp olive oil 

3 cloves garlic, minced 

1 pound ground beef 

2 green onions, chopped 



  1.  Whisk together brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, and ginger. 
  1. Heat large skillet to medium-high heat and add olive and garlic for 2-3 minutes.  Add ground beef and cook until beef is cooked through (4-5 minutes).  Drain excess fat from beef and return meat to skillet.  
  1. Add soy sauce mixture to skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.  Add green onions and allow it to simmer. 
  1. Serve with Jasmine rice and add steamed broccoli for a well-balanced meal!
