Harvey’s Catastrophe
(recipe given to me by my husband’s grandmother)
Ingredients:
1 can sweetened condensed milk
8 oz whipped topping
1 small can of pineapple tidbits (drained but saved if using banana below)
1 can of cheery or blueberry pie filling
Optional:
1) banana (to prevent the banana from turning brown when cut, cut the banana in a bowl and then pour the juice from the pineapple on it. Let sit for a few minutes than drain and add the banana to the above mixture)
2) chopped nuts
Directions: Fold all ingredients until well blended. Chill in the refrigerator a few hours or overnight.
*Very nice in a pretty clear glass bowl.
