Christie’s clients describe her as outgoing, genuine, and enthusiastic. She invests herself in your success, acting as your mentor and guide on your journey to better health through smarter nutrition. Never judgmental, Christie, RD, “walks the walk”: She knows what it takes to look and feel great because she does it herself. In her own daily life, Christie finds ways to make healthy living fun and easy. Recently, Christie challenged employees of one of her corporate clients to beat the number of steps she walked in one day at Disney World: 17,000 steps!

She also has worked as the nutrition consultant for the Kernersville Family YMCA, Volvo, DH Griffin, Bank of Oak Ridge, and Senior Services of Winston-Salem.

There’s no one-size-fits-all nutrition solution: Our bodies are all different, and the demands we place on them vary widely. Christie, RD, takes the time to understand your unique physical and mental state so she can design a nutrition plan that not only meets your health needs but is realistic for you to follow.
Christie, RD, is living proof that real people achieve positive results by thinking beyond the plate.
When they see her at grocery stores and restaurants, Christie’s clients think they’ll be able to “bust” her for making poor food choices. But they don’t find her loading up on junk! Instead, she eats real food, in moderation. As Christie puts it, “I believe it’s essential to practice what I preach. I see it as the only way to show people they can trust me as an expert.”
Under Christie’s influence, her husband and daughters have learned to make smart choices and eat in moderation. In fact, the entire family assists with meal planning. Christie’s two daughters know that if they want to have hot dogs or chicken nuggets, they will have to balance it with something beneficial like fruits or veggies!
She doesn’t live at the gym, but when she’s not working with clients, she enjoys body pump classes, elliptical, and any kind of cardio…including exercising with her husband and daughters. Everyone in the Hunter family enjoys eating healthy and being physically active!
